What a lovely idea for gifts. Please let me know the scoring 4 d binding.
Thank you
Follow the video tutorial Gloria and the the binding will become clear. There are also measurements for each mini about in the post on the website. Hope this helps. Dawn
I love your tutorials! They are so clear and never waste any time. You pack every minute. I am not a scrapbooker but this tutorial has tempted me. I could use the last book to carry postage stamps in my purse and the second one would be perfect for my to-do lists! Btw, you have beautiful hands and I admire your perfect manicures which often color coordinate with your projects! You are a delight and I will continue to follow you just because your tutorials are so captivating!
Thank you Mindy, looks like I may inspire you to have a go?
I like to make practical mini scrapbooks that can be filled with lots of photos and mini books that also make great gifts with that very special personal touch as they are handmade by you. These are the gifts people will treasure and keep as they mean so much more.
Many thanks also for the comment on my nails and yes they are my own, lucky I am blessed with good nails. I always do my own manicures and I think it is important to keep them neat as my hands do the talking. My children don’t like it if my nails are not painted as they say I don’t look dressed, I think they are so used to seeing them look nice.
Many thanks again Mindy and let me know if you do have a go at making something. Dawn x
I just watched your first tutorial on the books made from one sheet of paper. I am intrigued and will be trying this in the next couple of days. I always make invitations for a Halloween we give for my grandchildren, and my mind is buzzing with the thought of using these as the invitation and putting tags in with pictures of costumes in past years.
Thank you for this wonderful idea. I look forward to seeing more.
Oh Marsha
That sounds like such a lovely idea and I would love to see some photos when you have made them, You can post them on my Facebook page if you like as I am sure my fellow subbies would love to see them too.
Happy Crafting
Dawn
Your video says to score at one measurement and the printed tutorial says to score at 3/4″ Not sure which to follow. Can you clarify? You clarified the second difference, but the first one wasn’t, on the video.
Sorry if you got confused however, they are both the same Desiree.
3/4 inch is the same as 6/8inch, I think because my Scor-pal says one measurement and my instructions say another.
I will amend the website so it does not confuse anyone else.
Enjoy Dawn
Your web page calls for 10″ your video calls for 101/2″
does it matter which size? If so please specify.
Yes Naomi, do as the video says which is 10 1/2″.I will amend my web page.
Could you specify which side, 10″ or 12″ you are folding?
If you watch the video and craft along with me that is the best way to follow. you will see which side is which as the 12″ side has it has 3 score lines and the 10 1/2″ side only has 2 score lines. I hope this helps you?
thanks for the specifics
It would be very helpful if you could slow down your instructions and give us time to follow you
I like your business like delivery but trying to give directions for three constructions
in one video means going at a speed that is hard to follow..
cheers!!!!
