Had a great day today at a Workshop at MDF Studio. Rob aka MDF Man and Karen showed us lots of techniques and I had a grat time making the MDF Tissue Box Cover.
I cover my Tissue Box with lots of techniques, texture paste, paint, guiding wax, stamping on canvas, hessian, fabric flower making and sewing too….

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I love the albums you created with the bags (I knew you’d do wonders!) I’m thrilled you liked all the extra goodies. The butterflies are from a wonderful artist, Renea Harrison, she sells them on Etsy https://www.etsy.com/shop/Reneabouquets

I am a very new and very late scrapbooker, not very good at making anything, but thanks to you, Dawn, I have been inspired and really so very keen to have a go. Your mini albums are so beautiful and I can’t wait to start. I’m going to try a practise run first with some cereal boxes & scrap paper. I thank you so much for sharing your beautiful ideas with us, another devotee of Dawns inspirations.

I loved that little square tissue (MDF) box. Do you have the tutorial or the list of the material you used for it? It’s so beautiful and i think it will not be difficult to make one for me. xx

I cover my Tissue Box with lots of techniques, texture paste, paint, guiding wax, on two sides.
Paper covering then layers of hessian and cavas that has been stamped on , Then some stitching to give even more texture.
Paper die cut flowers with hessian strands and beads for extre texture.
Very simple to do.
