Cake in a Box Video Tutorial

MDF Heart using Subscription Box#1 from Crafters Companion

20180416_224323_resizedDon’t just think of your subscription Box for creating cards you can also use the elements inside to create off the page projects to decorate your home or give as gifts.

I have used a plain MDF Heart which I have then painted with acrylic paints, covered with the papers from my subscription box.

Touch up the edges with gold gilding wax and decorated with elements from my Subscription Box#1 from Crafter’s Companion.

Spectrum Noir Aqua Tint Pens.

Aqua Tint Pens from Spectrum Noir are filled with bright water-soluble dye-based ink, dispensed through a fine nylon brush. So they are a lot easier to use than the original Aqua Tints that came in small jars with a pipette. The pens colour can be applied as accurately or freely as you want, then blended out with water for an amazing result every time.

Being a pen with a brush nib means they are not just for colouring as you can also use them to create mixed media art with out the fuss of messy hands- unless you want too!  Making Aqua Tint Brush Pens are perfect for creating a ‘controlled mess’.
