I picked up a pack of note cards and envelopes whist out shopping and it was such a bargain at 99p and thought what could I make with these!!!
Well I was so pleased as out of one pack of 10 note cards and envelopes along with a little extra card stock and ribbon I managed to make 4 very different projects.
The cards I have used measure 3 & 7/8″ x 5″ and the envelopes are 4″ x 5 1/2″. If you are using note cards and envelopes of a difference size then you will need to adjust your measurements.
Project 1 – A Magic Wallet
Project 2 – Jacobs Ladder Scrapbook
If you would like to make your own template for the presentation box to hold your Jacobs Ladder Scrapbook please click here
please do bear in mind if your cards and envelopes are of a difference size then you will need to adjust your measurements.
Project 3 – Envelope Wallet Mini Album
Project 4-Envelope Mini Album
So when you out shopping next grab a packet of note cards and envelpoes and craft along we me to make these 4 different projects from very few materials.
I absolutely love your tutorials they are easy to follow and the last project where the pages where broken down into there own segments was excellent as some times I forget to leave my craft room. I E start the dinner. I have done 3 different books and getting more confident with each, so I am now looking to go on your on-line tutorials with more interactive pages. Please keep up the demo’s I am hooked on your YouTube site.
Many many thanks
Dawn
Thanks Dawn for your encouraging words, you are so kind.
Please feel free to post me some pics of you finished albums on my Facebook site, it lovely to see what my crafty followers make and also good to share and get feedback from my crafty bunch, it also inspires others that they too can be creative.
The next few Online Workshops I have lined up are for projects with a bit more detail, but again with my detailed videos and tuition they are still very achievable and you can watch them as many times as you wish which is always great as they become projects you can use time and again. Keep up the crafty. Dawn x
Hi Dawn, I am new to scrapbooking and in my 70s. However I decided to make a scrapbook for my granddaughter’s 21st turned out quite good and I think she will like it. I picked up tips from magazines. Now that it is finished I have discovered your site and am fascinated by it. I am not fast enough to keep up with you so the staggered tutorials are perfect, I want go on making books just for the fun of it. I want to make one for my grandson next year so am looking at more masculine papers dying to get into it but don’t need it for another 18 months. I will be practicing with your tutorials in the meantime, Thank you so much for your technics and your clear and concise way of teaching. love your nails!!!
Hi Nancy, Thank you for getting in touch.
You are never too old to try something new and a great hobbie too!!! Many of my crafter followers are either newbie or non crafters so you are not alone and it is great to hear I have inspired so many to take up the challenge and start a new hobbie.
If you do Facebook many of my crafters share and chat on my page so it is nice to see all the projects they do and to chat too.
There are lots of mini books to try so at least you can have a trail run before making one for your grandson. They make great gifts too, so you can enjoy making them then give them as gifts. Thanks also for mentioning my nails, I think I will have to set them up a Fan Page,he! he!
Take care and Crafty Hugs, Dawn x
